My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I prioritize building a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship.
We will incorporate cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindful self-compassion, and EMDR when appropriate.
Homework and practice outside of sessions is helpful in acquiring new insights and skills that will benefit you over time. I will identify the best way to work with you to achieve your goals.

I bring a lot of life experience to the therapy office. Ultimately, my heart's desire is to see healing from hurts that are negatively influencing a person's behavior.
I believe that we all have the capacity to do great things with our lives - we just have to find out what is holding us back!
I work with depression, anxiety, and trauma survivors using a combination of CBT, EMDR, and Mindful Self-Compassion.

An EMDR Certified Therapist ™ has engaged in at least 20 hours of consultation with an EMDR Consultant™ for EMDR and has practiced their skills with at least 25 different clients in at least 50 EMDR sessions. An EMDR Certified Therapist™ has voluntarily met standards of consultation, clinical practice, and continuing education to provide EMDR therapy. An EMDR Certified Therapist™ is committed to fulfill ethical standards and is engaged in continuing education. To maintain this certification, a therapist must continue to satisfy the EMDRIA requirement including completion of continuing education requirements and adherence to ethical standards.
